ZERONERO [red]
I created ZeroNero [red] with the intent to provide a tasty N/A alternative for those adventurous folks looking to enjoy the ritual of a cocktails with a meal, a celebration, or happy hours with friends and co-workers without the unfortunate side effects of imbibing distilled spirits.
For ZeroNero [red], I decided to incorporate my extensive knowledge of natural adaptogens to support digestion, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, pain relief, supporting oral health, blood sugar regulation, liver protection, and bone health. ZeroNero is comprised of the following ingredients:
cloves: rich in antioxidants, blood sugar control, liver protection
cassia bark: anti-inflammatory, blood sugar control, digestion
star anise:rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, supports heart health
fennel seed: digestion heart ad bone health, improved skin and eye health
orange peel: heart health, digestion, immunity
elderberries: immune support, anti-inflammatory, gut / metabolic health
lemon balm: calm anxiety / stress, improves sleep, aids digestion

Who we are
Hi. Max Messier here. Welcome to ZeroNero. We are so happy to meet you. I am an award-winning bartender who has worked “behind the stick” for over twenty years at cocktail joints, dive bars, and fine dining restaurants in San Francisco, New York, New Orleans and Denver.
In 2025, I went to a hardcore punk show and had a crazy bursty of creative inspiration. My love of Negronis is my calling card (including anything stirred, bittered, and served on a big ice cube.) So, my mind went into overdrive with the concept of a N/A aperitivo liqueur using my extensive knowledge of dried fruits, dried herbs, flowers, baking spices, bitters roots.
And in that very moment as I was singing along to one of my favorite bands — Thursday - a single name exploded in my mind in big Vegas lights… ZERONERO. Named after the infamous Roman emperor Nero, a N/A beverage minus the negative effects of alcohol.
Fast forward months and months later as we sketched out the recipe in various interpretations until we landed on that “ah ha” moment. That moment when I knew we had found the perfect balance of sweet, savory, supple and bitter reminiscent of my favorite Negroni enjoyed best after an exhausting bar shift.
I look forward to all y’all picking up a bottle of ZeroNero [red]. The [black] version (my version of the best N/A digestivo) will be launched in the coming months.
